This site costs about $29.00 per year, and it’s worth it.
http://math.rice.edu/~lanius/frac/
I put a whole unit together on patterns and number sense using these easy to follow fractal lessons. One of my favorites.

Interactive sites

http://math.rice.edu/~lanius/Lessons/index.html
A website put together by Cynthia Lanius. It has interactive lessons and links to lots of other sites. It is a good one for ideas for lesson or unit planning.
http://www.explorelearning.com/
Not free or cheap, but you can have a free trial membership for 30 days. One of the best interactive sites for math and science.
http://www.internet4classrooms.com/skills_2nd.htm
Really big website for specific grade level activities
http://www.brainpop.com/
Try the free trial- pretty cheap after that?
http://linerider.com/
This is really great for extension activities and for those “spatial relationships” fun and challenging. Kids catch on to the multimedia aspects and can take it to the moon!
Worksheets
http://puzzlemaker.discoveryeducation.com/
This simple puzzle maker is good for making practice sheets for order of operations (math squares) and other things. The free on-line version doesn’t allow for a lot of input from the teacher but the output is decent if you don’t have tight parameters.

This site requires a subscription. It does offer free 30 day trials. It has the visual, interactive applets. Focus is on grades 6-12 but it can be adapted to elementary!
nlvm.usu.edu/en/nav/vlibrary.html
Incredible interactive activities. It starts with a matrix of subskills and grade levels. This is the one with the algebra activity.
